LISTEN UP FRESHERS!!!

New term is fast approaching and what an exciting time it is! Moving home, moving town and moving church! If you're a new student moving to Bedford then HELLO from all of us at Grace Community Church.

We offer a warm welcome, great Bible teaching, friendly faces and hospitality to students from all the local Higher Education institutions – The University of Bedfordshire, Bedford College, Cranfield University.
Why not come and visit us on a Sunday before your arrival.  We'd love to meet you and be of assistance in your big move.  Just simply contact Mark below and he’d be happy to help.

Grace actively supports the UCCF Christian Unions and the local CU’s in particular and we're committed to helping equip students to both learn about and talk about Jesus.

PEOPLE TO LOOK OUR FOR

MARK FOR WEBSITEHi! My name is Mark and I have recently joined the staff team at Grace Community Church where I’ve been given the responsibility of supporting students and encouraging you in evangelism.

Having graduated from Nottingham University with a Geography degree, I spent a year working with Christians in Sport, which is an organisation that supports Christian sports players to reach out to their teams and clubs with the Gospel. Most of the year was spent working with university sports players. I then spent a year teaching Geography and PE before moving to Bedford.

In my spare time, I love playing sport as well as kayaking, walking in the mountains and trying to master the frustrating game of golf!

It has been great joining the community here in Bedford and I am very much looking forward to getting to know you and supporting the local CU's with the important ministry you will all be involved in through the year ahead. I’d also love to invite you to join the church family at Grace Community Church and get involved in all that is going on here. We are always able to help with lifts to the Sunday services and there are many people in the church who would love to provide you with a break from student meals!

You can contact me on mark.herbert@graceinthecommunity.com

CAZ FOR WEBSITE1
Hi, m
y name's Caz and I've recently completed my PGCE at the University of Bedfordshire. I had a great time at Uni, and love living in Bedford.

I am now a PE teacher in a local Upper school. I play hockey for the Bedford club (3rd team captain no less!) and live in the town. I'm involved with Christians In Sport and work with Uni students on camps and conferences.

I regularly attend Grace Community Church, so hopefully see you at one of our Sunday services.
